CONFIDENTIALITY
At Capital Area Human Services District (CAHSD) our clients are met with respect and acceptance. Many of our clients and their families have traveled a difficult road and we are here to help them move forward.
Since all of our clients come with their own unique abilities, the District’s staff is ready to work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment or support plan, regardless of whether the need is in the area of mental health, addictive disorders or developmental disabilities.
Treatment Teams in our clinics may consist of a physician/psychiatrist, nurse, clinical social worker, counselor, and a psychologist.
Confidentiality is protected by federal and state laws. Employees are prohibited from sharing any information about clients with anyone outside this agency, except as required by law.
CONSUMER RIGHTS
Services and treatment are provided without regard to sex, race, age, sexual orientation, creed, color, religion or nation of origin.
PAYMENT/SLIDING SCALE
Fees are assessed for each person requesting services based on his/her ability to pay. The sliding fee schedule is based on family income and total number of individuals in the household who are dependent on that income. Medicaid, Medicare, and some private insurance are accepted.
ACCESSIBILITY
Once your situation is evaluated you will be directed to services close to your community. We strive to provide a system of care that you can actually use through satellite offices and community partnerships.
