How Does It Work?

Clinical Treatment Teams may include a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, counselor and nurse based on an individualized treatment plan. The team may be enlarged to include other specialists. Confidentiality is protected by federal and state laws. Employees are prohibited from sharing any information about clients with anyone outside this agency, except as required by law.

Can I Afford it?

Fees are assessed for each person requesting services based on their ability to pay. The sliding fee schedule is based on
family income and total number of individuals in the household who are dependent on that income. Medicaid, Medicare, and many private insurances are accepted.

Leila Ramos

As a high school student, Leila Ramos experienced the heartbreak of losing several family members to overdoses from opioids.
 
Determined to help prevent that heartbreak for other families, Leila founded the nonprofit “Hope Resuscitated,” that expanded public access to the medication Narcan that reverses the deadly effects of overdoses from opioids.
 
Recently, Leila sat down with CAHS Video Producer Tembi Muna to talk about her mission and about how CAHS mentored and inspired her to help others. Click here to watch Leila’s story.
